There were two servers, one who doesn't seem to be capable of taking orders or identifying any of the dishes. The other seems to be the owner of the place. After we manage to get a table and ready to order, we waited for some 20 minutes before the owner comes to take order. (I see a table of 8 people who left because no one came to take order) After which it took at least 30 minutes before our dishes were served. If the servers are busy, diners will probably understand. The owner just doesn't seem to be organised and most of the time nobody was there to attend to the diners.
Very bad dining experience. 2 PCs of small fish slice with one of them hollow below (stomach section) plus some fermented soy bean soy costs RM68. The 4 small rings cutter fish with asam sauce plate is hilarious, costs RM55. Avoid it if you can.
Stay away. 7 of us had dinner, 5 ate the chicken and all 5 had severe food poisoning. Two of us were hospitalised and doctor found two bacteria (one can only be found in poultry) and 1 virus in our specimen. This place should be shut down.
The person in charge was rude and unprofessional. We waited for more than an hour for our turn only be taken for granted in favor of a bigger group. There's only two of us but we agreed to share table with a group of 5 people but they already gave the two big tables to the two groups who came later than un. We were even told that we can just leave if we want! You think you're smart by being rude to small group of people in favor of big group but that only shows greediness! Greed bring people anything but success!
I may not be an expert in Peranakan cuisine, but I found the food to be delicious. It was quite spicy, so be prepared if you're not used to it. The staff was friendly and spoke English, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a great experience.
