So we definitely come back. We were served very friendly despite a super well maintained restaurant. You always had a beautiful and funny spell on your lips. The humour was contagious, but not intrusive. As the guest feels good. The food greeting from the kitchen (a Chamignon cream soup was a first taste for our good and really rich food. We could enjoy lamb and goose breast. It was all well prepared, of course, especially the clubs did it to us. Although very well saturated, one could not leave a bite here : The ambience A bit rustic it is already in the castle Stuben, but still pleasant. Something better then when the crowd had gone. Then the sound level fell and you could relax a little better. Cleanliness It was absolutely clean in the restaurant and also all around.
The place is on the left side of the castle. It is well visited at noon so you better book a table. The waiters are partly beautiful, but some also look very stressed, which made no good impression. The card is good, but I have to put something very hard here: on each side there is a separate card with allergen details on request... but if you ask, there is no! and the waiters are also not informed where it is. Actually, one would have to pull out a star more than in today's time it is actually a must! The food was good. It's natural. You can make nix wrong here, but expectations should not be too high.
The restaurant was well occupied and we were placed at a big table, the last free one. The operation is predictive and good. It is a well maintained guest room with amazingly low noise levels, although all places were occupied. The food was tasteful and visually very good. The portions are designed for good eaters. There was no dessert with us. The geese was tenderly roasted and the pink. The sauce is not out of the bag. The monasteries were huge and there was still a second with a lot of sauce. Zanderfilet was gently roasted on the skin, the roasted potatoes were very good. The salad buffet offers a rich selection of fresh and made salads. It was continuously refilled if necessary. The price-performance ratio is very good. The wine map was not huge, but the selected wine was very good.
Rich and very good food. Service was attentive and very nice.
The kitchen is unbeatable, as with mothers or even with grandma. Those who want to offer their guests ground-level Thuringian cuisine at the highest level are right here. And the prices are still grounded. It's not better.
