As the only pub in Borstal village this really should be a community hub. However, I always find it to be quite unfriendly and has quite an odd atmosphere.
Went there today and had the fish pie, partner had the signature burger. Both dishes were lovely, the fish pie was very tasty and extremely well made. My partner said the burger was up there with the best ones she had tasted. Only here for a few days but definitely would return and recommend. Service was friendly and very helpful. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5
