Contribuiți la feedbackWanted to congratulate Tracey and her staff as they provided a great day for the Mothers Day lunch . The tables were set beautifully and the welcoming glass of Prosecco went down well! The gift, a cupcake in a personalised Mother’s Day box was a lovely addition and a treat for all mothers. Jason and his team completed the day with a lovely roast lunch served to perfection by his waiting staff. Please pass on these comments as they all worked so hard to make the day special , great team work ! Would highly recommend. D. Smith
We visited recently for a family Sunday carvery. We had previously visited last year found the meal very nice, then from this previous visit, we recommended to our friends, as great value with a tasty meal. Based on last years visit, we decided to book again this year. This turned out to be a massive mistake on our behalf. I’m not going to comment on the venue, but purely the service meal. The inexperience of the waiting staff was plain to see, so maybe some training will help to solve this problem. Moving on to the meal. Based on our last visit, it was on a different level. For starters I chose Crab Cake, that was a big mistake, if I’d have wanted a tasteless, over cooked thin Crab Cake, I would have purchased this from a frozen food retailer. This was served on a bed of salad, or should I say, some limp leaves, well past their best before date. Moving on to the carvery, to start, the plates were cold, just stacked on a table waiting to be used. There were 3 meats on offer, turkey, gammon beef. The turkey gammon tasted ok, but the beef was so tough I had trouble cutting it, let alone chewing it, so decided to leave it on my plate. The roast potatoes were not to bad to be fair, they were hot but could have done with another 10 minutes in the oven. The vegetables, parsnips, carrots, peas, swede cauliflower cheese all could have been a lot hotter, I’m not a fan of luke warm cold vegetables. This leads me to my biggest disappointment, the Yorkshire puddings. They looked really nice, but the flavour texture were appalling. I likened them to chewing cardboard, absolutely no flavour at all, so once again, this was left on my plate. Sadly I will not be returning to this establishment for any type of food, especially the Sunday Carvery.
Our daughter got married Saturday. They had their reception at Gillingham golf club. The staff were so lovely. They couldn’t do enough for us. The sit down meal was amazing. I am the most picky of people but ate everything on my plate. It was the best food I have had in any restaurant. The evening buffet was incredible.I couldn’t believe how lovely it was. Food was replaced every hour right up until 10 pm. Absolutely fantastic evening. Well done to all concerned I would definitely recommend it. Thank you so much to all the staff. Lorna.
We have just celebrated my partners 60th birthday at the Gillingham golf club and what a brilliant night we all had. Tracey and all of the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right to help make this such a special occasion. Massive shout out to the bar team who were kept busy all evening. The buffet was provided by the club and was amazing.. especially the samosas! If your looking for a great venue look no further you won’t be disappointed. Thanks guys was a great night
We booked our parents 60th wedding anniversary party at the Golf club, for 21st Jan 23. From start to finish Tracy was helpful and professional. The evening was wonderful, the food superb, and the service exemplary. I want to particularly thank Olivia, Louise, Georgia and Joanne for looking after us and our guests so brilliantly. Many Thanks
