Diner 42 - Medina

Had a single Cheeseburger with Fritten. Very good burgers! Meat was excellent as well as the bungalow and the fortifications. Fries were also freshly cut and delicious.

I went for lunch and it was really disappointing. The burgers were greasy and tough, and I noticed some questionable practices in the kitchen. I honestly can't figure out how they have a 4.3-star rating, because anyone who appreciates good service and quality food definitely wouldn't enjoy this place. Just to be clear, I won't be returning.

Good service, delicious food and good prices. Small diner with limited seat inside, but a handful of large picnic table outside on the deck. We sat outside with a nice breeze. I'd like to see you again.

The food is always fantastic and you can really not beat the price. The atmosphere is not great, but I would sacrifice that every day for a good meal and even more if it is at such a great value. I think it's about 8.99 for a double cheeseburger and pommes comparable to five guys in taste. Make yourself a favor and try this place at least once.

This small restaurant has a cozy interior that feels like it's in the middle of a transition. It could benefit from a bit more organization to better utilize the space, as some items seemed out of place and in need of storage. However, the food was fantastic! We started with jalapeño poppers stuffed with cream cheese, which were delicious. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries. While I suspect the burger patties might have been frozen rather than freshly made, they were cooked well and tasted great. A few of the fries seemed a bit dried out, possibly because they mixed with some fresh-cut fries, which were actually very good. My wife opted for the tuna salad on a croissant and really enjoyed it, although she noted that the salad had a sweeter flavor. The proprietor also mentioned a new menu item they're excited about—a hot donut! It was amazing, freshly made with crispy edges and a delightful sugary sweetness. We definitely plan to return!
