Island Empanada - Medford

I ordered the pork plate and was delighted with every part of it. They do not skimp on flavor or portions! The rice and beans would have been perfect by themselves but paired so well with that juicy pork. Also, you can't go wrong with maduros! I was offered to get a part of the crsipy skin too, which was soo nice as it's one of my favorite parts! I finished this fantastic plate with a heavenly guava and cheese empanada. If I'm ever back in the area, I will be visiting again.

The staff is friendly and the food never disappoints .....you can eat there or take home there's plenty varieties of empanadas go hungry and try the Philly and shrimp
