Bonsai Teriyaki - Medford

This restaurant offers an impressive selection of Asian cuisine. The sashimi and nigiri were absolutely superb. They also have a variety of Korean dishes. The seafood is incredibly fresh. Although we didn't try the sushi, the rolls looked fantastic. I will definitely be dining here again!

Although it's not on the menu, I highly recommend making a special request for the best sushi! You can't go wrong with the seared salmon, seared tuna, and seared scallops served with a side of spicy mayo. I also suggest trying the regular tempura udon—it has wonderful flavors. The owner is very friendly and is also the one cooking. As someone visiting from out of town, I'm truly impressed!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Bibimbap at this restaurant. The gochujang sauce was excellent as well. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the service was outstanding!

The vegetable tempura is very good. We ordered to take out and our food was ready in about 15 minutes very nice staff. I can't comment on the sushi since I didn't order it. I think the dishes have been adapted to suit American tastes so don't expect authentic cuisine, but everything we ordered was tasty and well prepared. Portions were generous and staff friendly.

Even when they're extremely busy, the waitstaff and chefs at Bonsai consistently deliver excellent service! They have never let me down in all the years I've been coming here! This is definitely my favorite sushi restaurant in Medford, and I gladly recommend it to anyone seeking a sushi suggestion!
