Morena bar - Medellín

Went for dinner with my wife and a Colombian friend. Two Spanish-English speakers one only English speaker. Host provided translation and info in English for my wife. Extremely accomodating in our request to not add shell fish to the coco sauce topping wife's fish and make sure no lactose snuck into sacues and dressings. We all ordered different dishes and we were all very happy....grilled fish in cocoanut sauce, churrasco and chicken and beef combo fajitas.

Well this is a restaurant located in the first park of Laureles in Medellin. The attention was really good even so we asked if the band could sing a song and they did. The food was great, and in this occasion I eat the chicharron cooked in the oven. Well the flavor was insane. Really dig it

I went here for a late lunch and ordered smoked ribs. When I took my first bite I had to rip the meat off the bone with some real force. When chewing the first bite it felt completely raw in my mouth. I then cut down to the bone and it was ****. The "chef" came out and told me that is the way smoked ribs are served. I didn't eat the ribs but I did have two beer while I waited 30 minutes for raw ribs. The contractor doing some work for the restaurant was the one who had to yell over to the bar both times I wanted something.
