La Cantine - Medellín

We have been there for dinner with my wife while in Medellin. The restaurant is beautifull, the service prefect and the food excellent. I would higly recommend this place.

5 star decor and ambience.I would say the service is a 3-3.5They try to do to much and no one really gets it except the manager/owner who apparently does everything.Tried the Solomito 5 starsThe pork pate sandwich 5 starsThe duck was 1 star dry and non tastyThe seafood rice was 3 stars...Would come back to try other dishes as the rabbit was not available.

Excelent service, food. Reasonable prices$$$ Trully French service and cousine Would recommend for its excelent service. Reservations recommended, when we arrived it was emperty, but by 8:30pm full.

The food here is good, but is nothing too special, there is nothing really wrong with it, you may enjoy it and the place looks good, the service was half and a half, the manager that receive us (I forgot the name), was a very kind man, he receive us with a very warm attitude, but the waiter was very cold, fast, I felt like he did not want to be there. I was with some friends from Turkey, they like to sign when together with friends, when are feeling good, however we were told we shouldn't do this, I think this was a bit strange.

Went here for dinner with my wife to celebrate her birthday with another couple. The restaurant decore is simple but nice and it is open on two sides. We were seated quickly and the drinks we ordered were brought quickly. All the waitstaff were friendly & knowledgeable. We each ordered something different from the menu and were pleased with the presentation, quality & flavors of our choices. In addition to Spanish, of course, French & English are spoken.So why only 4 stars - the bathroom. It was not clean or very nice. It reminded me of the kind of bathroom you'd find at a country gas station - paper on the floor, not very clean. A nice restaurant with good food should do better.
