Red Rooster Country Store

I really enjoyed my visit to the Red Rooster! The atmosphere is inviting, the staff is friendly, and the food is amazing! I recently tried the banana bread mix, which has become a favorite among my college friends. I will definitely be returning to stock up on items to serve to my friends.

This place has the best landscaping in the state! You will find highly sought-after deli meats and pickled vegetables here. The interior is cozy despite being small. They are very conscious of cleanliness and social distancing during this pandemic. This is a hidden gem in Hannover County that we will definitely revisit frequently.

The deli sandwiches at this restaurant are fantastic. They are made fresh to order. In addition to sandwiches, they also offer shakes and ice cream. The store also has a variety of unique food items and trinkets for sale.

10 stars for the food!!! Best Turkey Sandwich in town! The only area that needs work is the Staff. Some are sooooo nice some make you feel like you are putting them out they come across abrasive. Won't stop me from coming in just something to mention.I copied this from a previous review and agree 100%Delicious sandwiches and snacks. The only issue is customer service isn’t great though. The old woman is very belittling and rude to other women so I won’t be coming back again.

I drove from Richmond to have lunch with my friend at this restaurant. I'm glad we came. The atmosphere was very relaxed, and everyone was helpful and nice. The sandwiches and milkshakes were amazing. This is by far the best lunch spot I have ever been to, and I will definitely come back.
