Pizza Hut - Mechanicsburg

I ordered an original pan pizza and paid an extra dollar for it, but I ended up receiving a hand-tossed pizza instead. While it was delicious, it wasn't what I had ordered. I also got boneless wings, which were chewy and had an odd texture. However, considering they were only $6, I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

I ordered a large cheese pizza and a 2-liter bottle of Dr Pepper, but the manager seemed unsure if they even had it in stock, which was strange. About 40 minutes later, I received a call from Pizza Hut saying the delivery driver was at my house and I wasn't answering the door. However, they never knocked or rang the doorbell. When I opened the door, the driver got out of his car and walked over without a greeting—just handed me the pizza. The total was $20.92, and when I paid in cash, he asked if I had any change. I didn't, so he rummaged through his pockets and asked again. Ultimately, he found some cash but no coins. I understand that 8 cents isn't a lot, but it's still my change, and it was frustrating that he didn't even acknowledge it. It's surprising that a restaurant would send drivers out without ensuring they have the exact change when they know the payment is in cash. This experience really disappointed me, and I won’t be ordering from this Pizza Hut again.

I ordered a P'zone and was disappointed with what I received. I remember them being crispy, brushed with butter or garlic spray, topped with a bit of shredded parmesan, and sprinkled with parsley or some other herbs. However, the one I got tonight was not brushed at all, making it very dry. It was mostly doughy, with hardly any toppings and no parsley. The parmesan was added before it went into the oven, leaving it tasteless. This is not how they used to make them. If this is the new standard, it’s really lacking. I had to drink a lot to wash down this flavorless ball of dough. Overall, it was terrible.

It's a decent restaurant overall. However, there are rare instances when my carryout order, which I placed online, doesn't get received. To be safe, I usually give them a call to confirm.

We had a large party and needed 17 pizzas 4 family size portions of pasta and 60 cinnamon rolls. The price was originally half off but had expired, they ended up doing it anyway and got our pizza ready working a half hour! Amazing and friendly!
