Small Town Cafe - McLouth

I had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant. I was lucky enough to be invited as a guest to try their 7-course menu, which was absolutely delicious. I started with fried pickles and sweet onion rings, both of which were tasty. The cold Italian pasta salad that followed was the best I've ever had. The freshly baked cheddar roll was also excellent. For my main course, I had pork with a generous portion of beautifully glazed chiff and two-baked potatoes. The double-baked potatoes were just okay. For dessert, I had a Kansas dessert with a delightful Oreo crunch and a rich custard. I hope to return one day, as the price was very reasonable for the amount and quality of food I received.

The pickles were good, but the onion rings were even better. Next, I enjoyed a cold Italian pasta salad that was possibly the best I've ever had. The fresh baked cheddar roll complemented it well. For my main course, I had a huge pork chop with a delicious glaze and a twice baked potato. The potato was decent. To finish off the meal, I had Kansas Dirt for dessert. The oreo crunch was delightful and the dish was incredibly rich. I would love to return one day. The price was very reasonable considering the amount of food I received.
