Ihop - McKinney

Prepare to wait a LONG time for your food after sitting. In addition, the chefs must be up to date with the menu changes. Like 4 people complained that the court was not right and mine was not right as they did the old menu version.

I consistently give this restaurant a chance since I live nearby, but each time I visit, I'm greeted with the same disappointing experience. I always end up waiting 15 minutes just to be seated, and then another hour for my food. During my last two visits, including today, I waited around 20 minutes and not a single employee came to check on me. There were only three tables occupied, and a larger group nearby just kept staring at me and rolling their eyes. I highly recommend avoiding this IHOP and making the drive to the next one. (And just to clarify, I'm not referring to late-night visits.)

Great food, hot coffee, fluffy pancakes, easy 4 star . The service experience didn't live up to the rating though.When making request to have a better food experience asking for condiments shouldn't warrant an eye roll from the server. Or lack attentiveness to request made.Going to a dine in to eat warm food and a great atmosphere, is the reason we go to sit down restaurants. I always try to give this place a chance because I live right around the corner. Every time without failure, I have to wait 15 minutes just to sit and another hour to get my food. The last two times, including today, I waited for about 20 minutes ahead and never had an employee who approached me. There were about 3 tables and a short big gala that stared at me and rolled her eyes. Skip this IHOP at all costs and just drive to the next. (And no, I'm not talking about night experiences)

I love IHOP! They have great pancakes. Everytime I go to IHOP I'm seated immediately. The staff is extremely friendly and nice always. We never have to wait too long on food or drinks either.
