Harry's At The Harbor - McKinney

We absolutely love this local restaurant. Misty, our favorite bartender, always takes amazing care of us! The rest of the staff are very friendly and helpful, the drinks are high quality, and the food is always fantastic. The view over the water is beautiful. We can't praise Harry's enough and will continue to be loyal customers for years to come!

I want to start off by saying that the food at Harry's was delicious for my birthday dinner on Homecoming night. The staff was friendly enough, although there was an incident where my dad upset the waitress and the manager came to lecture our table, which was not a nice ending to my birthday dinner. The view at the restaurant was amazing. However, the reason for my poor rating is due to the poor manager decisions and service. I won't go into all the details of the issues we experienced, but I will mention two examples. Firstly, we were told that our food would take at least 45 minutes to arrive after being seated. We had to ask for silverware after waiting 1.5 hours at our table, during which 3 out of 8 meals were brought out individually and the kids' meals came last. Secondly, when we asked the manager for some appetizers or even just some chips to hold us over during the long wait for food, she said she would get them for us, but it would take 45 minutes (which seemed excessive for just a basket of chips). Despite waiting for 1.5 hours, nothing ever arrived for us, while the table across from us received 3 helpings of chips during their meal. If the restaurant is going to have long wait times for food, that's understandable, but excellent service could have made the experience more tolerable. Unfortunately, there were several other issues and Harry's could have done much better.

Very moderate and expensive. service was ok, although a little slow. our third visit in 5 years, in the hope, every time it would be better. three strikes.

Incredibly excellent squid and chips! I work over dfw and haddock is rare to find, but it is the best fish ever! beautiful restaurant with very pleasant staff. we highly recommend this place if you want the best food and service ever!

On Sunday the brunch starts at 9 o'clock, so that was a plus. our waitress was very helpful and very nice. the mimics were delicious. the view of the sea was an additional bonus for us while we ate.
