Dutch Bros Coffee - McKinney

I returned in the afternoon and discovered that my preferred level of sweetness is about half of what they typically serve. I ordered a Nutty Irishman and absolutely loved it! I'm updating my rating to 5 stars! The line was so long that the sheriff's department was on hand to manage it around the shopping plaza. It was opening day, and I decided to check them out since I had never tried their coffee before. The atmosphere was lively, and everyone we interacted with was full of energy. While the coffee was good, it was a bit too sweet for my 5 AM taste. I will likely return, but probably later in the day.

I had an interesting experience at the restaurant. I was a bit taken aback when the young server tried to adopt an 'urban' tone while taking my order. I had to politely tell him that he didn’t need to act that way and could continue speaking as he had been before. That said, my drink was really good and held up well in the heat, which was impressive. The young lady at the window was very friendly and provided excellent service.

The staff is consistently very friendly and professional. This is my favorite place to dine!

This restaurant seems to be quite popular, as we encountered a 20-minute wait in the car line, managed by the local sheriff. Friendly greeters were handing out menus to customers in their vehicles, taking orders, and offering helpful suggestions. Our drinks were prepared quickly and were quite good. We tried a Caramelizer caramel mocha blended with whipped cream and a Tiger's Blood strawberry and coconut lemonade blended drink. The Caramelizer was absolutely delightful—perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with a pleasant coffee flavor that wasn't overwhelming. The Tiger's Blood had a slushy texture, but I found it a bit too sweet for my taste; however, I’m sure kids would really enjoy it. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and I’m excited to try a tea on my next visit!

Excellent coffee, fantastic service, and quick lines. What more could you ask for?
