Bobby D's Burgers Barbecue

Last time I went here, their Ruben was sad. All of the meat was piled in the middle, so my bread on the ends got thrown away, and their was So little sauerkraut that it was a surprise when you got a bite. Their Mac and cheese lacked flavor, their bbq was sad. It was cooked appropriately but the flavor wasn’t there, and their brisket nachos??? It’s like they used the fatty pieces of the brisket for the nachos, the cheese is the same in the Mac and cheese and offers no flavor. Hoping it was just the cook of the day but who knows. Food quality is at its lowest.

I understand that this restaurant has recently opened, so they may still be ironing out some issues, but we encountered a few problems during our visit. We had to request all the sauces that were supposed to accompany our appetizers, and my sandwich was meant to have BBQ sauce but came dry, requiring me to ask for it separately. On a positive note, the smoked meats were quite flavorful. However, the “baked” beans were underwhelming; they seemed like they had simply taken a can of pork and beans and dumped it into a bowl. My husband ordered the mac and cheese skillet, but found the cheese sauce to be bland and overly thin. Additionally, the “Cajun” shrimp were lacking seasoning and still had their tails on. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning for a while to see if they improve. On the bright side, the service was excellent!
