Mum's Restaurant And Bakery

We had fish and chips and regretted it - it was OK, but pretty clearly bought in frozen battered fish. Some of the other dishes are freshly made and I suffered a bit of menu envy seeing them going out to others. My fault! Good atmosphere.

The breakfast was wonderful. Homemade bread was the best. I could have just had toast for a meal!! We took apple fritters for later. The biggest and best fritters ever!!! Would definitely recommend Mum's to anyone that is in the area. If we ever get back up that way we will be sure to stop again!!

Not our first time here. We visit Mums every time we go to Mindemoya. Whether it's for breakfast, dinner or just for desserts, this home cooked style food is top notch. A lot of food for an affordable price. Breads and desserts are made in house. The desserts are huge and there's a long line to get them. They're sticky buns and Apple fritters seem to be in high demand. It's clean and the staff is friendly and the food is served in a timely manner. We will def be back.

Great food, efficient service. Their breakfast menu is quite extensive and everything was excellent.

Just had breakfast today and were surprised at the quality and value,not sure were others are coming from with the negatives but 3 eggs 5 strips of bacon and a thick slice of ham with hash browns form about 9 bucks, Not to mention the 3 slices of fresh baked bread and you have a meal that holds you for the day. Its a small place that does breakfast well, we now consider them our go to place when we are on the island and we are always looking for a great breakfast place where ever we go across Canada.
