Three Dollar Cafe - McDonough

Update: The manager called me back and said I could bring the food in for a remake, but they offered no refund, discount, or any other accommodation. After seeing the food, the manager just shook his head and apologized. The food and customer service were both very poor. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

Three Dollar Cafe has long been one of my top choices, and I'm thrilled that a location has finally opened in McDonough. My go-to dishes are the wings and Buffalo shrimp, both of which are delicious. I've noticed that lunch is usually pretty quiet, but they mentioned that it can get quite busy during dinner hours. I highly recommend checking them out, and if you do, make sure to mention that Eric Berry from Fathom Realty referred you!

I used to be a huge fan of this neighborhood establishment but my feelings are changing the more I go! To be clear, our server and the food was good, as always! But I have two complaints from tonight,, 1) I?ve been coming here for years and the glass my?Texas Margarita? came in tonight was small, really small. I remember when this same drink was served in a slightly tallerglass. Four sips and the whole drink is gone. Stop robbing customers of a decent sized drink?.. BUT the thing that bothered methe most was, 2) bartender eating at the bar while making drinks! Didn?t wash her hands not one time after putting food in hermouth! Disgusting! I don?t care that you?re not touching food, but your hands are touching the rim of glasses and i dont wantyour nasty fingers that came out your mouth, touching my glass rim. Like gross! If you?re hungry, just go take a break and eat.Don?t eat and make drinks at the same time. Too many health issues going around for these employees to be this careless!Remember someone is always watching?

Caiden was our server, and he was both prompt and courteous. The entire staff was friendly as well. The Korean BBQ sandwich was fantastic and definitely worth stopping by the café for. The appetizer sampler was also a great choice, with generous portions perfect for sharing.

Between us, the four people at my table ordered wings, shrimp fettuccine alfredo, a meatball sub, and a grilled grouper sandwich. Sides were salad, fries, sweet potato fries, and Mac and cheese. We all had nothing but good things to say the fishsandwich was one of the best I've ever had. The sweet tea is home brewed, not a mix. The service was friendly and timely. Theprices are terrific. Definitely need to come again if I am in the area. Edit 5/24/22, driving through the area and stoppedfor food. Took pics this time! The food was just as good as last time. ???? The squash casserole was delicious!
