Rum Cake Lady Cuban Food Cafe

This was my second visit to this restaurant. It's a great place to visit if you're going tubing for the day or getting off the Blue Ridge train. I tried the vegan Cuban sandwich with vegan chick'n and enjoyed it. Next time, I will ask for the chimichurri sauce on the side.

The vegan bowl is delicious. I also ordered a side of tostones. The menu clearly labels what options are vegan. They also have Jarritos available.

I ordered the vegan bowl at this restaurant, which includes a choice of white or yellow rice, black beans, plantains, spinach, and chimichurri sauce. You can also add a vegan meat alternative if you'd like. I requested an extra side of the sauce. This was definitely a great choice in an area where vegan options are scarce!

At first, I was skeptical but once the owner had me try it, I was in awe! It was delicious! My first Cuban sandwich and it was totally worth it! The sandwich is large which is great as you can save the half for later! If your in the area, highly recommend you to check it out! The staff is amazing!

Visiting from Florida with little hope I would find delicious vegan/vegetarian food. Not only do they offer many options for us herbivores but the food was ABSOLUTELY DELISH!!! I ordered the vegan/vegetarian Cuban sandwich with a side of sweet plantains and Jupina soda. Being Cuban American myself it was true comfort food and loved how they offer Hispanic drinks inside.
