Wendy's - McAllen

Wendy's on the 29th Nolana. The service was very bad, employees didn't know what they did, not the names because nobody had a name tag. Place was dirty, ice machine empty. Very bad experience.

I was happy with this visit. The tables were clean. Staff were friendly. I got my food fast. I hope they keep up the good work. Thank you. Food: 4/5

Typical Wendy's, not all that good. We ordered the French Toast Sticks and they were over cooked/prepared. I didn't buy one, but in my opinion the only item that is worth getting is the Frosty. I don't understand for the life of me how they have stayed in business so long. I suppose people that go there just don't know much about quality food. I have not and will not ever recommend them.

They take forever to give out the simplest order. They start cleaning early as if they’re trying to be subtle about kicking clients out. Workers are rude and manager kassie I believe, rolls her eyes a lot.. very rude. Shouldn’t be a manager if they aren’t good with customer service. Not to mention I smelt marijuana inside the restaurant and it wasn’t in the lobby but the smell was coming from the kitchen, wouldn’t be surprised if they got busted for selling it in the store.. probably why they took forever on my order.. when I was gonna get ice for my drink I noticed the dispenser had MOLD. They play around instead of doing their jobs. The place is supposed to be family friendly.. definitely wouldn’t suggest anyone going to this location. Disgusting.

The chili here is really good. It's just the right thing to eat when not real hungry but want something good. Compliment it with a small fries, yummy.
