Paprika Seafood Mexican Kitchen

I had the fried fish and garnel and I was impressed by how good it was. the prizes are also great. look forward to my next visit.

Paprika is now my way to Taco Square in the morning. your house made mais tortillas are so good! I'd like to go to lunch as they dive. the food tastes fresh and made to order and is not too fat or salty (my two main complaints of Mexican seafood sites.) their interior is very clean and comfortable and the service is polite. the prices are not bad either. I am always a happy customer after eating in paprika!

The food is genuinely amazing. The reason I gave it two stars is because the service is incredibly slow. On my first visit, I ordered a baked potato, and it was delicious—the cheese, meat, and bacon were all real, not imitation. I returned a second time to enjoy the same tasty potato, but this time there was no bacon. When I went for a third time, I was disappointed again; there was still no bacon and no sour cream. I usually pick up lunch for work, so going back would have been a waste of my time. The potato on my third visit was a bit off; I'm not sure if something was spoiled or what happened. I came back a third time hoping for that heavenly potato I had before, but it just didn’t live up to my expectations. I really miss that first potato. They take over 20 minutes just to prepare a baked potato. On my third visit, I called ahead to place my order when I was 12 minutes away, and I still had to wait an additional 13 minutes. The staff isn’t friendly either, and most of the time, you can see them chatting among themselves through the window. "Third time's the charm"? Not for me. I won't be going back anymore.

This so called restaurant is located at the corner of 23rd/Pecan next to the more popular Mrs. G's Tacos n' More in McAllen. I can't think of any business that is more rude and obnoxious to block off areas for Mrs. G's customers. The folks at Paprika make sure to park cars in such a way to create a barrier to deny access to the drive thru. I'm not sure what all the effort is for to keep customers away from Mrs. G's, no one is ever at Paprika. The food must be as horrible as the owners.

The breakfast is excellent, and the seating area is clean. However, when I ordered inside, the staff mentioned that the food was meant to go. This was a bit inconvenient, as it could have benefited from better communication about dining in. Otherwise, I would have given Paprika a full 5 stars.
