Kolache Factory - McAllen

This place is AMAZING! It doesn 't matter if you are in the mood for sweet or savory. Kolache Factory has you covered. My current favorite is the Ranchero Kolache. I love it for it 's tanginess and the slightest amount of 'heat. ' They are even great as left-overs. And if you shop at HEB, keep an eye out for coupons. They come in handy when family comes to visit. Best part about this place? The staff is wonderfully friendly too!

If you like kolaches, you'll love this place. Lots of options. I tried the pizza kolache, Texas hot, and sausage and cheese. All were very flavorful. Texas hot was spicey, but not too much for my spicy-sensitive friend. My only complaint is that the kolaches sit for a while, so they had to reheat them when I ordered. I do wonder when the kolaches come out fresh.

Honestly one of my favorite food places in the city. I mainly go for breakfast, but they have such an impressive variety. The staff is always so friendly. Bacon egg and cheese is classic for breakfast, and the croissants are so flakey and buttery. BBQ brisket is one of my favorite lunch ones, but creamy spinach is really good too.
