Khan's Grill - McAllen

I'm a Khans fan since they opened years ago, but I think I just had my last meal there. $20 for a lunch is crazy, a person with tea and an egg roll. Can't even get a salt and pepper shaker or soy sauce on the table, instead bring you packages to go. Beef is hard and full of gristle. I'm totally fine to pay money for quality, but that's missing at all points. It used to be a visit to me.

Khan's is my favorite restaurant, and A.C., one of the cooks at this special establishment, was incredibly kind, articulate, and talented! The vegetables and meat available at the bar are always fresh and ready for your meal, and the chefs are very attentive, ensuring that nothing gets overcooked. I love this place and definitely recommend it!

Okay, so I love the taste in general that this food has. The problem is cooking that I hate the Burtn flakes that are all above the food. When I eat, I feel like in the Sannd food, that's disgusting for me, it takes away my hunger. Also I have seen other restaurants cook the food like this and dont coome out nothing burned. The chefs also have to stir the food, not only let it sit until it burns. That's not true. Even if they would rather sow something else, then a metal spachula would not burn them on food. And clean up your place after every meal cooked and no burning is built on each section of food. Please progress. All these black points are burned and when you bite it feels like your chewing on sand.?

This is my absolute favorite restaurant! If you haven't been before, here’s how it works: you start by selecting your ingredients—there’s a red bowl for proteins and a green bowl for veggies and pasta. Next, you choose a seasoning (my favorite is lemon pepper), and then a cooking oil and sauce. They grill everything for you and then add rice and bread. Since I was feeling hungry, I opted for two red bowls and one green bowl. When my order arrived, it was massive—essentially two meals for about $16, which is a great deal! Ever since my visit, I've been daydreaming about what I’ll try next time. The staff is very friendly and they definitely understand that tipping is important!
