Don Pepes Mexican And Cantina - McAllen

In town waiting on a load back to Montreal Quebec Canada. Wanted to have some Mexican food and picked this place off of Google. Food was great, waiters were friendly and the price was reasonable. 19 bucks for a good quantity of food and a beer. I left feeling satisfied. I would definitely return and just may do so tomorrow.

Great restaurant, our family enjoys every outing to Don Pepe's! The fajitas are the best here in McAllen! Great friendly service every time, will recommend this place to anyone.

I love Don Pepe's, they have the best choriqueso around. There food is delicious! When you get there you are given a small cup of chicken broth with vegetables with chips and salsa while you wait for your food. Staff is very attentive and fast. We had some margaritas and they were so smooth and balanced, not too sour. The parillada Don Pepe was delicious, it came with beef and chicken fajitas, sausage, mollejas and short ribs and rice, beans and guac. The portions are big, we always have some left. I love there cheese enchiladas too. If you haven't tried it, you should. It's our favorite.

Thursday's is a must ! The out of this town plate... dinosaur ribs and chicken plate ! Ribs And excellent service...
