The Filling Station - McAlester

The food was basically just a TV dinner. Instant potatoes were watery, Mac and cheese want totally melted and was bland, and the chicken fried steak was greasy and soggy. Very sad

Gas Station Diner offers simple meals, but the highlight was the incredibly friendly and attentive service.

Stopped in to get a drink, was going to get a fountain pop, and got Dr.pepper and it was out of syrup (didn’t have a sign) and so I poured it out and got a canned dr.pepper instead, and went to pay and asked if he could throw the cup away bc the dr.pepper was out, and he charged US for the CUP!!! It was only .50 BUT it’s not my fault that the Dr.Pepper was out and had no sign. He wanted to be petty over a cup so I’m being petty on this review.

Only went to get jalapeño rings, but they didn't have any....

This restaurant serves the best bacon cheeseburgers in McAlester!
