Contribuiți la feedbackLast night we had a great meal in casita maria. the restaurant is a bit difficult to find. they need to walk from the road and it is fucked near mary’s restaurant. we would never have known it would be if we had not read the big critikens for it. we sat on the terrace and the service was wonderful. we started with each salad. I had a Greek salate and my wife had the beet salad. the sections are really big and each of them could have been the main course. for the escape I had the otopus and it was very good. my wife had garnished the gnocchi and she loved it. we were in Italian for a month in this summer and have nothing so good. the sauce was creamy, rich and tasty. we will certainly be back and look forward to it.
We ate here again and again eating is excellent. as I have never tasted. I'm sorry for anyone who didn't think it was the best. We are not youthful and I have lived on three continentals and also an excellent cook myself.
Excellent service and eating. great appetizers and entrees. the beet salad as well as the fungal casroles were the best!
This was such an enjoyable evening. The meal was beyond delicious. Service was fabulous. Ambiance was wonderful! I can not say enough about this restaurant and the amazing food. It’s too bad we are headed home otherwise we would be back again! And we will...be next year! Try it and you won’t regret it!
This little place is nestled between 2 buildings in a courtyard called La Trocheria. There you will find Casa Maria by Cheff Ja Llano. There are also other eateries sharing the same courtyard for those with different tastes. Casa Maris is within walking distance of El Cid Marina resort and Pueblo Bonita golden zone. Well worth a visit.We were met at the entrance by Cheff Jamie who took us to a table and proceeded to explain his concept and offer a wine tasting (he also owns a winery). His menu changes with the availability of fresh ingredients. Being our first visit my wife and I decided to sample the three small plates he offered that evening. All were large enough for sharing. We first tried a Caprese Salad which had an amazing Mozzarella from Italy and was dressed with an excellent balsamic reduction. Next was a Tuna Shashimi dressed with a house made soy dressing, peanuts and sesame. Last was a mushroom, spinach and goat cheese bowl with lots of garlic. All three of these dishes were excellent and highly recommended. Since We live in Mazatlan we will be returning often. I would recommend calling ahead to checkout the menu for the evening and let him know how many people he will be cooking for. Jamie's number is 6692-50-04-85.
