The Whistle Stop - MAYVILLE

Joey (Mayville student of Nebraska), Has ok he was polite and knows the appetizers. I asked what this place was known for, he said the "Werks Cheese Steak". It was the best I ever had plus he said that bread is made daily, mmm m m! I hope I can afford to visit again. Robert J Landon

I frequently stop by this restaurant and always enjoy the food. The service is great, and I find the prices to be very reasonable. They offer a diverse menu that includes options from pizza to Mexican dishes to seafood. My only critique is that, despite the variety, they truly excel in classic American dishes such as sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, shrimp, fish and chips, and they serve breakfast all day. If you're unsure of what to order, you can't go wrong with their biscuits and gravy. Their burgers and fries are fantastic, and they also have a salad bar that can be added to most meals for a small fee. One thing I've noticed is that they are always willing to accommodate customers to ensure a satisfying meal. If you have any issues, don’t hesitate to speak up; in my experience, they've always worked hard to make things right.

I absolutely love this place! The food is incredible, and the owners and staff are fantastic. It's my favorite restaurant!

Had great cheeseburger 1/2 lb and very good onion rings. My wife had shrimp which was excellent.

The restaurant is clean but showing signs of age. The service is friendly and quick, and the burgers are good.
