The Lakeview - MAYVILLE

Well, I can honestly say I've never been ignored before at a restaurant. The hostess came over with menus after we sat there for a half hour..no smiles ..nothing..then we sat there for 20 minutes before I waved a waitress to come over. We learned that the hostess has been there only 2 days, she never went in to tell anyone we were there. The waitress sent another girl out who took our order and brought our water. Meanwhile, a party of 7 sat next to us on the porch and they were getting their food before us. Our waitress was ignoring us and when she did look over I said we're leaving, we've been here over an hour and they're getting they're getting food and we're not. She said ok, whatever. On the menu it says 20% gratuity on parties of 6 or more so she chose them over us...I can't think of any other reason... bad serviceI definitely will tell others of this experience

They were totally booked so you may wanna reserve a room if you plan on staying here. It was late in the evening and there wasn't any signs leading to a front counter for hotel service. I had to walk into the bar and waited 10 minutes for them to tell me there were no available rooms. But I didn't actually get to stay so I can't rate the entire service.

The food, the quality, and service were outstanding. The owners Rick and Sandy are still there everyday, making sure your experience is going to be great Stop by and see the Big Boy collection!

I ate in the dining room, the service was great the food was wonderful, they have a bar I don't use alcohol but when I did the service was good there as well. Don't know about the rooms didn't stay there.

Great food, cold beer friendly staff. Fun place. Can't wait to go back in warmer weather. Paula's the best!
