Agave Mexican - Mayer

We are regulars at agave and the service today was the worst it had ever been. Upon arrival we were seated in the back, it took them 45 minutes to even ask for our drinks. The first person didn’t speak much English and never brought us our drinks. An additional 20 later a women came to re take our drinks- at this time we also ordered as it had already been 1 hr 10 minutes of waiting and no drinks or service of any time. The lady took our drink orders for the second time and our orders. When our food came out the kids chicken meal was dropped on the floor and a new order was never brought yet we were expected to pay full price for one chicken tender. Not only that but my drink was completely wrong I had ordered a banana blended daiquiri and a mango liquid one was brought. The service staff was horrible making it so we didn’t even want to come back, not to mention the chicken was burnt to a crisp and the food was nasty tasting. Super disappointed as we normally love coming here

Used to love it here but it’s really gone down hill. Four of us dined here tonight and ran into several issues. Never received the waters we ordered, others sat without drink refills the entire time. Our server forgot what items one of us ordered in a combination meal, but didn’t come ask what we wanted until the other meals came out. So that person had to wait over 20 mins for their meal. Another person didn’t get their tortillas, beans and rice so he had to wait to eat his meal until the tortillas finally came and by then his food was cold. The hard shell ground beef tacos were soggy and fell apart instantly and the meat was EXTREMELY undercooked. Had to walk over to the bar to get waters and silverware from other worker because our server was MIA. Server never apologized and didn’t offer to make up for it. This was the first time we’ve ever not tipped. We won’t be back. We’ll stick to La Catrina in Watertown where you get better food and much better service!

It seems to me that their so worried about getting your food and drink to you they never came back to ask how are food was. I had a regular margarita that was the warmest margarita I ever had it was weird it looked like orange juice couldn't get waitress attention for ice or to have it remade. We ordered the fajitas for 2. They were delicious!! It had steak, chicken and shrimp! And the strawberry margarita was probably one of the best margaritas that I've ever had. Our server was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Agave! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
