Timmy's Time Out Grill - Mauston

We stopped in for the Friday fish while we were in town for the weekend and although the staff was accommodating for our group of ten, I was very disappointed with the food. I had the $16 bluegill which was six or seven tiny fillets which were only warm and the fries which looked very good but had little flavor. Clearly this is frozen food that is heated up by the cook. It doesn't seem the cook does any actual cooking. My wife's chicken tenders had little flavor also. We normally drink rye whiskey but they had no rye in house. I would have no reason to return unless I wanted a few can beers and watch obscure college basketball.

The New Year's party was fantastic! The food, drinks, and raffle prizes were amazing!

I recently dined at a cozy pub and tried their top-notch rib sandwich. It was absolutely delicious, served on a fresh roll with au jus. I will definitely be returning.

There was only one waitress bartender on duty at lunch but more arrived by dinner. She was nice and as as attentive as she could be. The food was good and filling. The fish was breaded and yummy. The fried mushrooms were good but I thought the breading was salty and tasted more like pork chop shake'n'bake. Not like the yummy light breading on the fish at all.
