Lola Monica's Bbq House - Matumbo

The friendly staff at Rico's Lechon across the road recommended we get their lechon for take out as they were already closing, but have our meal here. So glad we followed their suggestion! Food portions are generous, good for 4 5 hungry people. Quality taste are great, ang sarap! Had the sisig, kare kare, kilawin, pakbet, talong, sinigang (we were hungry, haha) no misses. They accommodated our bringing in of the Rico's lechon, the staff were nice attentive. Would eat there again even if other restaurant options are open. Sulit.

The food here was amazing we ordered the ensaladang talong, grilled pompano, sisig with egg and pumpkin soup. Everything was delicious, especially the fish and the eggplant. So happy we tried here yesterday! Its near my work place too! Im sure it wouldnt be the last time we'll be here. We'll come back for more : Food quality is so good, serving is so good, place, and the price? Is sooo worth it. Id say better than chikaan accross for a lesser price! (sorry not sorry . After late check-out from the hotel, We went in around 9 o'clock and 4 people ordered 6 different dishes, and they were all delicious. The price is reasonable too. There is no need to go expensive. It was very hygienic and nice. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
