S. Valentim De Matosinhos

Dije en la puerta que tenía una reserva y me dijeron que si y me sentaron! Mentira, la tenía en O valentim no en S Valentim, pero si no conoces la dona es fácil equivocarte. Me di cuenta cuando no coincidía la calidad de la comida con lo que me dijo mi hermano y le llame. Sitio cutre y sucio, pedimos almejas (parecían chirlas y llenas de arena) a 22,50, lulas (calamares) bastante regulares para ser sitio de puerto, un queijo de serra (nada que ver con los que he tomado en la zona) y una carne repugnante (la deje entera) acompañada de arroz hervido y patatas peor que las de bolsa, agua con gas y media botella de vino (lo mejor de todo). Todo esta comida incomible nos costó 97,50. El sitio más caro donde he comido porque casi no comimos. NO SE LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE. I realized when the quality of the food did not match what my brother told me and I called him. Seedy and dirty place, we ordered clams (they looked like clams and full of sand) at 22.50, lulas (squid) quite regular for a port place, a serra queijo (nothing like the ones I've had in the area) and a disgusting meat (I left it whole) accompanied by boiled rice and potatoes worse than the ones in the bag, sparkling water and half a bottle of wine (the best of all). All this inedible food cost us 97.50. The most expensive place I have eaten because we hardly ate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

We were tired of touristy seafood in center Porto so headed to Matosinhos beach where plenty of authentic seafood places exist and San Valentin is one of them. All fresh seafood is displayed and cooked in front of you on coal. We ordered jumbo shrimps, sardines, and a 1 kg dorado fish, all were excellent. Dish comes with complementary potatoes, and boiled cabbage. Service was good and waiter was knowledgeable but sadly spoke no English, so communication was difficult. We paid 75€ for 2 people for the above, which is about right for Porto prices. Recommended!

Arroz de tamboril muito bom e funcionários sempre prestáveis. O arroz de marisco não é tão bom como o de tamboril.O preço rondou os 45 euros por casal.

Funcionários simpáticos. Peixe bem preparado e fresco. Tempo de espera cerca de uma hora. Recomendo vale a espera.

Bom serviço, eficiente e cuidadoso. Peixe, fresquíssimo, sem enganos... Lugar seguro para comer um bom peixe. Recomendo.
