Delicious food and really friendly service. I speak a little Spanish and they took the time to speak a little slower so I could practice ordering and small talk in Spanish. You can also just order in English ; Nice soda for a good plate of food to get you filled for the rest of your journey.

Such a great discovery on our way back to the airport from the Caribbeans! This was probably the best Casado we had in Costa Rica! Super warm family atmosphere and the food is so delicious! The owner’s son runs this place with so much positive energy and made us feel very welcomed! If you want real local food with local atmosphere- this is your place!

Great place! The owners were super friendly and helped us learn a few new Spanish words! They were very accommodating with dietary restriction, able to make me and a friend vegetarian food that was super delicious. Get their chocolate milk, passion fruit juice, and fish plates if they have them!

Solid, yummy, affordable food. Great service and the staff/owners(? were super nice. Our family had a great experience and we would definitely go back.

Chalo and fam were wonderfully welcoming to this pack of gringos; the food was amazing and very reasonably priced. What a gem to stop off at on your way to or from the Caribbean coast.
