Don't let the exterior fool you! Inside, the staff was welcoming, the food was great, and the atmosphere was homey. Prices are comparable to big chain dinners if not a bit lower here and there; but any chance I have to support local business I take! My family and I were so hungry and the food smelled so appetizing that I didn't even think of talking pictures of the food! Strongly recommend for wonderful food and service. This is the definition of out of the way, little restaurant that you need to try. The food is delicious and the tortillas were homemade...that should be enough said. I had the monster taco, which is a meal on its own. If you on I 37 and can get off the highway for a quick 5 minute detour, please do yourself the favor. Do not go the the truck stops for breakfast. Go and sit down and enjoy a meal like if Abuelita and your Tia were in the kitchen cutting up the Spam and brewing the cafe!
