The Bagel Mania - Matawan

Phyllis is amazing! She excels at everything she does, from grilling to making deli sandwiches, bagel sandwiches, and managing all the countless tasks needed to make a bagel shop thrive. We visit just for Phyllis's incredible cooking; it's hard not to be impressed by her ability to juggle so many responsibilities at once. Bagel Mania has the best bagels around. They are enormous, full of flavor, and perfect for any breakfast or lunch sandwich. I often buy a dozen and enjoy them as a side for dinner at home. Her cinnamon raisin bagels and super cinnamon raisin bagels are heavenly; they make for a delightful treat when enjoyed in the comfort of your own home. I truly love this place! The owner, who is a really big guy, is always smiling and brings a great vibe. It's always nice to see him! When my friends come to visit from out of state, I make sure to grab several dozen bagels for their journey home.

Great bagel with bacon egg, cheese and hash brown inside (My Go-to order). Never disappoint. Always packed in the bagel. Would highly recommend

**Review Update - May 29, 2022:** I recently enjoyed an incredible bagel topped with lox, cream cheese, onions, and capers, all served on a delicious bagel, accompanied by excellent Starbucks coffee. The young woman with red hair provided such gracious service. Thank you, Bagel Mania! It's a fantastic place with wonderful people. They’re open now—definitely go and support their business!

Even though I have a couple bagel stores near my house, I drive out of my way to go to bagel mania. Not only are their bagels so fresh and tasty, the crack fresh eggs and they have deli meats too. Their staff is super friendly and make your bagels or sandwiches exactly the way you like them.
