The food was delicious and the service was great. Wish we knew there was an event in the other room because we had to sit at the high table which was a challenge for the older members of our party. The alternative was outside but with heaters still was a little cold.
Ambiance was charming old church converted to restaurant. Food was ok nothing spectacular. Service was awful. Waited 15 minutes for drinks and they were either forgotten or not good. Trying to get the waiters attention was impossible. Not sure I would go back.
We went on Christmas Eve, early to avoid the crowd. They didn't have Alot of food choices, mostly fish and I don't like fish. Didn't even have your standard Italian meal choices or even salad. Then after the meal was over, we nicely asked them to bag the leftovers, 3 separate meals. They only brought us back one and when we mentioned it they only agreed to give us a free dessert. Real nice one free $7 dessert when the two meals we didn't get the leftovers for cost over $30 each. Although the atmosphere is nice I wouldn't recommendVegetarian options: They have noneParking: Very limited parking and they force you to valet and I don't like ppl driving my carKid-friendliness: No kid friendly options
The food was good. The favorite dishes were the arancini and shrimp diavolo appetizers! The service was not great. The owner stopped by asking us how everything is going and if we needed anything. We asked for a dessert menu that never came. We had to wait for our server to come around quite some time and asked him for a dessert menu. It took a while to take our orders and other tables were helped quicker. The restaurant may have been understaffed and perhaps our server was being asked to do too much, but for someone else to come and ask us something only to not deliver made it that much more frustrating.
