Finally we asked a young couple on the street and they recommended this one: simlpe but the best along the main street. They were absolutely right about it. We chose to sit on the sidewalk instead of inside. Was fun to watch people walking with the dogs, then met with their friends had some tapas and a glasses or two together before they walked again with the dogs. We had mussels, grilled razor clams and grilled rabbit. They were all excellent fresh and tasty. Rabbit was the best I had ever had. The razor clams were so good that I had to ordered the second plate. Then 1 desserts, 1 bottle of wine, 2 cola. The bill was under Eur50. The waiter speaks good English and very helpful to explain the menu to us. A very enjoyable meal and evening. Highly recommended and surly will come back when we are in this town.
We have a daughter living nearby and this is one of her family's favourite little restaurant. We were not disappointed simple food well presented and delicious. Great wine. We will be back
We had the Menu del Dia the first time we came at lunchtime and everything was delicious, with good sized portions and reasonable price. For a starter I had Calamari and my partner had Gazpacho. We both had chicken with herbs for a main which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Partner had ice cream for desert and I had a freshly squeezed orange drink (could not have eaten a pudding! . Liked the food so much we went back the next day and had mussels and potatas bravas, served with Cava as it was a festival day (St Joan . Would highly recommend this place if you are near the beach. We also tried the food at nearby pop up beach bars but while the beer was good : their food wasn't a patch on Cal Petit.
