Food Trip - Matamata

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I showed up when they were having a special karaoke night with some special menu options that are prepared on demand. They still let me order off a regular menu though, because I was a bit overwhelmed by the options to choose from. Still very cool though!

Food was delicious, we had pork dumpling soup and pork hamonado both very yummy. The pork hamonado was rich and came with peanut slaw. Prawn dumplings weren't to my taste. Ube cake slice was huge and very soft and tasty. Would definitely go again when passing through.

We've really enjoyed our lunch here! The dim sum, pork, and stew beef dish were so good!!! Thank you for yummy lunchhhhhh

Food Trip was amazing! The food was fantastic and the prices very reasonable. The owner came chatted to us is lovely. They can really do pork! Good parking right outside. This is a must visit if you're passing.

The staff are so lovely here, very personable and always happy to see you. The food is absolutely delicious.
