Castaways - Massapequa

We saw some negative reviews and were somewhat nervous that it would be a crash. We were pleasantly surprised! It was a rainy day, so many other restaurants had closed kitchens but not Castaway! Natalia, our server, was very relaxed and friendly with us. Our food came out so fast. The steak sandwich was incredible, and the shrimp tacos (of which spicy) were disgusting. Would recommend.

Often go here for wing night on Mondays, but the rest of their menu is excellent also. Recently they had a birthday party for nine adults. It was perfect. Can't get better on Fire Island!

WOW! We had a great evening in Castaways. The service was amazing the food great and the energy unbeatable. As impressive as they work through a hard summer of the narrow labour market. You have found wonderful servers that are thoughtful, attentive, friendly and accommodating Do not ask for a better night out!!! Thank you!
