Food was unbelievably salty and made me feel nauseous. The shareable drinks are just one big glass with several straws for everyone to drink out of despite me specifying that it would be shared among the table. When I reminded waitress all she did was bring more glasses and I literally had to scoop out the drink and share it out to everyone. I would not return. Would not recommend this place to worst enemy.
This was our second time coming to Bar Grazie. We moved to Massapequa a little over 6 months ago and were excited to support a local restaurant. Our first experience in December was wonderful. Our waiter (don’t recall his name but he was Hispanic with long hair) was attentive and made great suggestions. The churro dessert was especially amazing! The food was great, the restaurant was beautifully decorated, and we promised we would definitely return.Tonight was the complete opposite experience of that night. We made reservations and were seated promptly. However, the entire place was packed and noisy which was surprising for a Wednesday evening. We were understanding of how overwhelming it can be for the staff when it’s a busy night with large parties so we sat patiently for 30 minutes. No one came by to bring water or even ask if we had a drink order. It wasn’t until we complained to the hostess that we finally saw a waitress. Breanna had walked by our table TWICE, and never once stopped to introduce herself or take our order. To make matters worse she didn’t even bother apologizing for the wait when she finally came over 35 minutes later. We looked forward to returning to Bar Grazie but we were so disappointed with the service, we skipped the dessert.
Amazing server, great atmosphere, terrible food. I order wagyu meatballs tasted bland, buffalo chicken empanadas tasted like the oil they were fried in was old and Korean bbq chicken wings bland as well.
It was busy with people coming and going all the time I was there and it was LOUD. The atmosphere is like a school cafeteria with staff everywhere. The menu is not impressive with expensive personal pizzas a good option. They post two prices like gad stations for cash and credit. However, the eggplant meatballs do stand out. Not a place to have a conservation or a comfortable tasty meal but it might be ok for lunch.
Brunch was not a good experience. It’s unfortunate because we have had good dinner and app experiences here. We were a party of 6, seated next to kitchen, multiple employees and customers passing by the entire time. Was told there were no other tables we can move to although we booked this reservation weeks ago. Cinnamon buns were cold, hard, and not fresh at all. The food in general was disappointing for brunch. Chicken burger was not good and potatoes were so mushy. Some items were brought out way later than they should have been. Mimosas and soft drinks brought later than the rest of tables’ drinks. Just an unfortunate experience that we were looking forward to as I told my friends it’s a good spot. Will not be coming back for brunch. Waitress was definitely overwhelmed because the place was packed.Parking: Much of lot designated for Verizon customers and was difficult to park for a Sunday brunch
