Unfortunately families get to the marketplace and see this as an easy option for food…little do they know how bad it will be. Way overpriced too. Drive the couple miles somewhere else, or frankly just make yourself a PB J b/c that would be more satisfying.
Do not, I repeat, do not go to this place unless it’s your only choice, maybe… First, the wait time was terrible. No ticket system, how the hell do they know what you got?! 2 SMALL pizzas were $38. A large pizza and a grinder, $60!! Oh, and the large, had one piece of bbq chicken per slice, rip off! Greasy, so greasy. Asked for salt and pepper, we’re rude and didn’t have any available.. $100 for 3 pizzas and no salt and pepper in your restaurant?? I’ll go to Petersons in Yarmouth and get 3 large lovely pizzas for $40.
Stopped by with my kids for a bite after a day at the beach For my 2 kids we got a small pizza which is a 10 pizza. They ate the whole thing. My wife and I got the buffalo chicken sandwich but we wanted to know the sandwich of the day. After asking what it was the person behind the counter says they don 't have a website and they have no idea what we were talking about. Even though on Google you can clearly order from their site here: browniesbythesea.square.site They have no sandwich of the day.As stated we also ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich. They asked if we wanted bacon which we said we did. Not sure why they asked since it 's on the menu as part of the sandwich. After getting it, it didn 't have any bacon and we had to go in and get a side of it. The sandwich was a 10 sandwich. Sandwich was ok but was quite a hassle. And the kicker? The sandwich was $18 and the pizza was $14. All together with tax and non cash 3.5% card fee came to $36. Definitely not a $20 sandwich and for a 10 pizza for $14? Was not really worth the price.I get it is a resortish area but still what you got was not worth the upcharge. I can get a small pizza which is larger than the 10 at home or any other places for less than $14.Looking for pizza or a sandwich in Poppy? Hit the Cafe, Go outside poppy, or Door dash. This was to overpriced for what you get and quality.
Looking for a wonderful place to go while you 're on vacation? Don 't go here! I had heard from a family member that they had had a good experience there some days earlier, but when our family ordered for pickup...there were several goof ups, to use polite language. The salad with no onions had onions but not much else! My turkey with cranberry sauce a menu choice typically offered with roast turkey in most places was instead sold with deli turkey at Brownies! Yuck! One person odered a Greek salad and was given a garden salad instead. What do you think happened when she wemt back to return it? They were very kind and let her do an exchange but she got home, and it was a Caesar not Greek! The people who work there need a photo with a picture next to each kind of salad so that they will know what salad to give to each customer. If you 're in the Popponessett area, it 's tempting to order from there because it 's one of the few very local places. But I recommend that you (literally) go the extra mile for a restaurant that will go the extra mile. This place needs to improve.
Where to start:I’ve been in Poppy for 11 years eating at this pizza place under 3 different owners. The pizza was always a 7/10 maybe an 8. Now it’s a 1/10!!! Just terrible, inconsistent, overpriced. The owner David Brown is rude, and doesn’t clearly doesn’t know how to run a business. Horrible customer service. on top of horrible food.He hires young kids and refuses to pay them on time, doesn’t them their appropriate allocation tips and in some cases doesn’t pay them at all. Can’t wait for the next owner to come fix it and rename it.
