Fay Da Bakery - Mashantucket

I ordered a coconut bubble tea, which was tasty but overly sweet. I noticed that they had my favorite dessert, hummingbird cake, which is rare to find in bakeries. I'll definitely have to try it on my next visit.

I absolutely love this bakery! I make sure to visit every time I'm in the area.

I recently had two unpleasant experiences at this bakery in one day. The first time, I purchased an almond cookie and a chocolate walnut pastry. The cookie had a gritty texture, so I only managed to take two bites before throwing it away. The pastry was bland and dry, prompting me to also toss it after two bites. Later that evening, after leaving bingo at 9 p.m., my wife and I wanted boba tea. We ordered taro milk tea from the menu, but they mistakenly made it as a slushie. After clarifying our order, they rudely threw taro powder into a regular milk tea, creating a disgusting drink. The service was poor and we felt disrespected. We will not be returning.

So happy this place is back! Their Japanese cheese cake is my fave and the only place I can get it. They also have great breads, and other sweets too. A must go to!

A hidden gem inside of Foxwoods. If you can't find a place to eat because every restaurant has a wait then try this spot. You can find something quick and cheap before a show or before you hit the casino floor. Basically everything contains bread(sandwich, rolls, buns, etc. , but it'll get the job done.
