Jefferson's - Mascoutah

The burgers are pretty good! There are some unique ski decorations that I hadn't seen before. The service is commendable as well. The restaurant is small, which can make it feel a bit crowded and bustling, even when it's just moderately busy. The atmosphere is a bit different, but if you're in the mood for this kind of spot, it's a fantastic place to enjoy a meal and have fun with friends. If that’s not your scene, you might want to consider going elsewhere.

The food was good, although the service was slow due to a staff shortage. I didn't mind this, as the team worked hard to get everyone's orders out. However, the tables and floor were dirty, and the restaurant was smaller than I had anticipated.

Jefferson has a great menu with a wide variety of options. I really enjoyed the cheeseburger, but the buffalo chicken sliders and Jefferson's chicken sandwich are also excellent. The onion rings are amazing, and I suspect they use the same batter for the fried pickles. It's definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through!
