Contribuiți la feedbackI moved to the area in December and wanted to wait until my second visit to write a review to ensure fairness. **Donuts**: 4 stars. They're quite good, focusing on a variety of toppings, which can sometimes overshadow the flavor. However, their basic glazed donut is excellent. **Kolaches**: 3 stars. They tend to be on the smaller side and are often served cold. We bought some for a drive, and when we asked if they were hot, the staff assured us they were. They were only slightly warm, while the insides were cold. **Service**: 1 star. Unfortunately, the same woman who served us during our first visit was quite rude and unapproachable. That first visit coincided with their anniversary celebration, and when we asked her a question, she responded in a dismissive manner. I brushed it off, thinking she might have been overwhelmed that day. However, when I went back for a Friday noon visit, her attitude was even worse. There was no one else in the shop, and despite paying with cash and leaving a tip for just two items, she refused to answer any of my questions. When I inquired about the price of a t-shirt, her response was, "I don't know," with no attempt to assist further. After we thanked her, she simply stared at us and walked away. While the donuts are enjoyable, the lack of a welcoming atmosphere simply isn't worth it. It's disappointing, especially since I've heard wonderful things about the owner from my neighbors.
After moving here nine months ago, my first mission was to find my go-to donut shop and cookie place. I reached out to locals on Facebook and was thrilled to discover that one person owned both! I learned that the best donuts in town could be found at Richy Kreme, while the top cookies were at Myrtles Bakehouse. They certainly weren’t wrong—OMG! These are hands down the best donuts and cookies I’ve ever tasted! I became totally obsessed and frequently visited both locations. I’ve been in love ever since! I've tried countless other spots in Knoxville, but I don't need to search any more... Richy Kreme and Myrtles Bakehouse are simply the best!
We absolutely love Richy Kreme! Their donuts are consistently delicious, and they frequently introduce new varieties. The staff takes great pride in their work, making this the best donut shop in town.
It's safe to say that Richy Kreme has some of the best—if not the best—donuts in the Maryville/Knotville area. I've visited numerous times and have always left satisfied. Just today, Saturday, March 19, 2022, I stopped by and was thrilled to find Girl Scout cookie-themed donuts. I tried the Samoa and Do-si-dos, and they were fantastic! All their donuts are bursting with flavor and truly a delight. I also recommend trying their cinnamon rolls when they're available! I usually keep an eye on their Instagram page for updates on upcoming events and new donut releases.
We stumbled upon this place while heading to a local laundromat and couldn't resist stopping for a donut. I have to say, I had the best Red Velvet donut I've ever tasted—it was incredibly moist and flavorful. My son chose a glazed donut and claimed it was delicious. After trying a bite, I had to agree, even though I'm not usually a fan of glazed donuts. I also picked up an apple fritter, and he got a cinnamon bun, both of which were equally tasty. The woman working there was very friendly, too. My only regret is that I'm just visiting and won't be able to enjoy more of their delightful donuts!
