Tokyo Teriyaki Wok - Marysville

I went to pick up a takeout order and had trouble with the credit card machine. I approached the guy at the counter to discuss the issue, but he threw the receipt at me and spoke to me in a rude and condescending manner, saying, “Don’t you know how to use a machine? No one else has a problem with it but you.” Feeling disrespected, I asked him to cancel my order, as I didn’t appreciate being treated that way. As I was about to leave, he ran in front of me and blocked the doorway. Despite my repeated requests to let me go, he stood in the doorway with his body and arms braced against it, preventing me from leaving. I tried to push the door open past him, and eventually pushed him out of the way to exit. As I left, he yelled, “F*** you!” I immediately called the Everett Police Department to report the incident. I would never recommend this restaurant. After returning home, I read other reviews and found that this is not an isolated incident.

The staff here is really friendly and helpful. I would describe the food as good, though not outstanding—definitely better than average. The prices are reasonable.

The tipping situation seems to confuse some older customers who aren't familiar with how the machine operates—you can actually tip $0 if you’d like. The food is simply delicious and the portion sizes are very generous. I just wish they offered a wider variety of sushi options.

This place is literally heaven. I’ve been going since I’ve moved to Marysville 5 years ago and this place has ruined teriyaki for me. If it’s not from here I don’t want it. Egg rolls are crispy and everything is always the same…… Money can’t buy consistency but this place delivers
