Contribuiți la feedbackWhile exploring Santa Fe, I discovered my new favorite dish: chile relleno. I made a point to try it at least once a day at every restaurant we visited.
We had a great time at Maria's restaurant, a popular spot among locals. There is parking available in the rear of the restaurant, making it easy to access. It's located right across the street from Trader Joe's, so it's easy to miss if you're not paying attention.
I recently visited Santa Fe from Albuquerque for only the fourth time in my life. Despite living in Albuquerque for 10 years, I have rarely had the opportunity to explore the capital.
I had a pizza here a couple of months ago, and it was by far the best I have EVER had! So, I've gone back a few times to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. (And because I developed a real hankering for it). Super fresh ingredients, and a base to die for. Sometimes there is a slight wait, but by God it's well worth it! The restaurant is now located on the corner of Wharf and Richmond Streets, right in the middle of the charming Portside Precinct, and is most definitely worth a visit.
Good pizzas. Can be a bit hit and miss with the bases. Be careful of their 'home delivery menu' though because they add an extra charge to actually deliver it.
