Contribuiți la feedbackWe did stay in the village here and this restaurant was really just around the corner. Lots of outside tables on sunny days and nice tables inside in the light and bright wintergarden. Also a bar area to have a casual after work drinks or so. We came here twice for dinner. After the first nice we were so impressed that we made a second reservation right away. Our Bulldog was welcome inside as well. Manolo the owner and his staff did a fantastic job. Made us feel welcome and at home. Took care of us very well and were very very attentive. The food here is excellent. Might cost a bit more than other options in the village, but you get real quality on the plates here. Combined with a really nice and relaxed atmosphere. Some dishes we've had were: Foie Gras (wonderful sized mi cuit Foie; high quality) Steak with Foie (perfectly tender cut of beef with nice Foie) Deep fried Mollejas (offal the gizzard of the beef, definitely worth a try, tasted fantastic) grilled shrimps (nice and fresh, perfectly cooked) Sukalki (a traditional Basque meat stew made with onions, carrots, choricero peppers, peas and potatoes) Chipirones en su tinta (squid in ink rare to find; a great item) They got some nice selection of wine here as well. By the bottle or glass. Every single dish was a piece of art. All perfectly cooked. The cook here is an absolute master. Kudos to that man! The Foie was so good, we ordered it both evenings. And they also bake their own bread here. At just 3.50 a piece (and it's a whole loaf). So crispy, so fluffy. Perfection. Bought one to bring home for breakfast even. It's one of these really perfect restaurants. Not just one of the best in Spain. One of the very best we've ever been at.
One of the best restaurants in the area, very recommendable. Portions are very big, quality local produce and typical basque dishes. We come here every time we have the chance.
Excellent food, great service and overall a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend it anytime.
No es que fuese uno de los mejores días de Euskadi para salir a comer, lluvia, niebla, día oscuro y triste, nunca había estado comiendo aquí, sí que frecuentemente paso por al lado en mis recorridos de bici. La primera sorpresa es la terraza acristalada (y bien calefactada que tienen, limpia, ordenada, las mesas bien dispuestas para poder comer tranquilo y con bastante intimidad, buenas sillas, buena mantelería y cubertería. En cuanto a la comida, otra sorpresa más, buenos entrantes, en nuestro caso jamón (pan con aceite y tomate , morcilla (pimientos rojos y puré de patatas , revuelto de setas y rabas (aquí mi único punto negativo, si mejorasen las rabas, el menú sería perfecto . Como platos principales fueron el bacalao y los txipirones (en su tinta gloría bendita!!! , el pan muy bueno, vino, postres y algún trago largo y la última sorpresa fue el precio, comer seis personas en Euskadi a la carta por menos de 400 € es increíble, aconsejable 100%. Eskerrik asko!!!!
Un restaurante muy agradable con buena comida y servicio, solemos ir muy a menudo .
