Holy Smoke Hog Roast - Martinsville

Our experience was more than enough! The smoked sausages were quite unusual, and the tater dead nachos could have been decent if they hadn't smothered them in canned cheese. The baked tender red was alright, but the grilled tenderloin was definitely the better choice. Also, the prices and specials on the menu weren't accurate as of today. In my opinion, a BBQ restaurant should serve good tea, but unfortunately, they didn’t. On a positive note, the staff was very polite, the service was excellent, and the place was very clean.

I visited the restaurant on Valentine's Day without a reservation, and it was incredibly busy. The waiting staff were very accommodating and attentive. I will definitely return. The food was excellent, and they had great beer. Highly recommended!

The food had excellent flavor and was truly enjoyable. It's a great spot for both lunch and dinner, featuring outdoor seating in a pleasant atmosphere with charming decor. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in downtown Martinsville, Indiana.

We were here about 10 times. For the first time, the food was good, then hit the next 4 times and miss. It tastes like they just pour on all liquid smoke. Last three times the food has deteriorated every time. They advertise specials daily, but don't honor them. I believe in the support of local businesses, but last three times did it for me. We will not eat here anymore and will not recommend it to the family or friends.

Holy smoke is a relatively new place in Martinsville. It has a beautiful atmosphere and they serve fried cookies (very good) with apple butter as a free appetizer when you sit. The food is cheap and you get big portions. The fried items were excellent, they were not greasy and well seasoned. However, the ducks were a little too salty or too much sauce. When you order wings, they get with sauce on the side. On the other hand, the greens I ordered were perfectly boiled, but were a bit bland and seemed vegetarian. I must admit that I was disappointed when I tasted no pig or smoked turkey in the green. That means I liked the Holy Smoke and wants to go back to try some other things from their menu. Overall a pleasant and relaxing place and you can still sit in an outdoor terrace when you bring your pet. You also have daily specialties Monday to Thursday.
