Boyd's Steakhouse - Martinsburg

Update! The owner contacted us and graciously asked us to give Boyd 's Steakhouse another try. We 're glad we accepted his offer. We did not tell Mr Boyd we were coming, so we received the same service as all customers would. We arrived a little early then the reservation, immediately seated. Waitress was very polite, professional and welcoming. Immediately took our drink order and returned with drinks quickly. Black Draft Bourbon is a must try) Appetizers while we were waiting for rest of the party came out quickly and were amazing. Waitress was very familiar with menu and was helpful. Steaks and the entire dinner were top notch, cooked perfectly to order. Service and food was at the quality that Boyd 's is known for. Highly recommend Boyd 's steak house again for amazing steaks and great service. Any issues have indeed been corrected. Boyd 's was at one time our 'go to place ' for a stylish fine dining experience. After our recent visit, this is no longer the case. We previously were wowed by the flair, presentation, quality and taste of the food, especially the steaks. Our last visit left our entire party wondering and asking, 'what happened '. The steaks were very plain looking and tasting ordinary cuts of beef. They were very different from what we expected from Boyd 's. The service was just 'ok '. The server was polite, but knew very little about the menus or the details of the menu items. It was so different and disappointing, we asked the server, 'what has changed '. She said management has changed and things are different. Indeed they are. We 're not a hard to please group, be we were very disappointed with our last experience at Boyd 's. Boyd 's in our opinion is not the fine dining, high end steak house it once was.

Went for our first time to celebrate our anniversary an the service and food was amazing. The only thing I didn't like is that we didn't know about this place sooner : Our server was awesome an the food was so amazing especially the filet Mignon and the scallops. We also got the artichoke an **** dip and it was seriously mouth watering! We then also got a free gift certificate for when we return so we would 100% recommend to anyone who has not been to Boyd's steakhouse. It's an upscale very nice fine dining restraunt but the food an service is def worth the price. We will for sure be returning again soon for another date night :

We went to Boyd's for Mother's Day dinner. Everything was excellent. We started with catfish fingers which were seasoned very nicely. My mother in law had the ribeye with a loaded baked potato and broccoli and she really enjoyed her dish. I had the scallops with jerk seasoned brown rice and asparagus. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My kids both ordered the kids sirloin and fries and they both finished their steaks in record time. We finished the meal with the chocolate soufflé which was to die for. Oh I forgot about the complimentary Texas toast which was excellent. Our server, named Mo, was very knowledgeable and attentive. We also enjoyed the complimentary horse and buggy ride. I am from the Baltimore/DC area where steakhouses are a fine a dozen. To find a great very reasobably priced steakhouse in Martinsburg was refreshing.

Love the atmosphere of this great Al Capone Bar turned Steakhouse. The New York Strip was amazing as was the Crab dip! Service was spectacular and I would strongly recommend to any looking for a fine dining meal. The man on the piano was awesome. Keep up the great work HD.

We just celebrated our anniversary here and can't say enough good things. Great ambiance, portion sizes, service, etc. The live piano player was also a treat. We'll definitely be back!
