Contribuiți la feedbackThe guava ice cream is always sold out when I come in. Must be delicious. Still hoping to try it someday. I love ordering any of their ice creams with the ube and matcha cookie crumble.
Spent $20 on luke warm whipped cream. They served us warm left out ice cream. I don't' recommend.
Came here last weekend and was excited to try their halo halo, BUT they said they didn't have it today. I believe she said they didn't have any ube ice cream. I should have asked for another flavor instead. Instead I decided to get a guava pineapple smoothie and thought it was good. Brought me back to Hawaiian vibes. The service was very friendly and hoping they have my halo halo next time.
The store is going through a change so they literally have 3 ice cream flavors available only. This was so disappointing since I had been looking forward to coming here for months! They only had vanilla, strawberry and mango available and the employee said they would only be able to offer ice cream or smoothies, nothing else. The employee was very friendly and gave us all the info about why their options were so limited, so extra star for that. Not sure if he was extra nice because he was training a new associate, or if that's just how he is, but he was clear, concise, and nice, so that was appreciated. I opted not to get anything, as the options they had were too basic but my BF went ahead and tried a banana smoothie. The smoothie tasted fresh and was sweet enough, however it did have that unripe banana after taste. It looked and tasted like banana baby food, which isn't really a bad thing if you love bananas! I will say the store was very clean. I loved the plants decor but the walls were very very bare. This was our first time in, so really unsure if this is normal or part of the changes they're making. I'm looking to forward to seeing what rebrand they come up with and what options are available next time we visit the area.
2.5/5 I hate to give this review, but I should. My mom , my best friend and I came on a Thursday. Funny because we just ate at Vics for breakfast and decided, why not get some ice cream. So we go to Guava and we 're greeted, great but then the cashier tells us the menu isn 't accurate so just tell me what you 're looking for and I 'll tell you if we have it . NOW... I get that sometimes places may not have items always in stock. But if your restaurant/ ice cream shop.. says Guava , SHOULDNT THEIR BE GUAVA ICE CREAM AT LEAST!?. They had no Ube no Guava, no Krispies, no this no that no this no that.. I 'm like is this a joke? My best friend ended up getting something to go for her husband, but it wasn 't 100% what she was looking for. I will say we came on the day of restock because the staff was shuffling some items, but it were things that weren 't ice cream related at all. The vibe of this place is totally cool I love it, but I didn 't love that day. I will say my husband stopped in here once before and I was able to try the guava and Ube flavor ice cream before that 's why I wanted guava since I knew it was good) BUT, at that visit they forgot ALL my toppings because they were busy. And my husband didn 't want to be rude and go back to get the he didn 't want to recut the line. Hopefully we can come back and get everything we are looking forward to. reading a few other reviews kind of make me think that their other restaurants the hideout and Vics) are gaining more traction and popularity so because it 's winter people not thinking about cold bevs or ice cream) the owners are NOT giving much love to this place, as it deserves. Please do not let this place go into flames. I love the concept and it has much potential.
